Austen studies human form through écorché, figure sculpture, and gestural drawings. After several years and with the female nude as inspiration, she came into this bold style of gestural drawing by pulling pressed charcoal to create the dramatic lines. This limited-edition print is 15” by 23” Arches archival paper/deckled edges and is signed and numbered by the artist with certificate of authenticity included.
